About Us

Jazz Junktion is a dance school located in Mt Cotton offering classes for students as young as 18-months-old to adults of all levels. Our studio specialises in over 10 different dance styles, from Baby Ballet to Flamenco. While the act of dancing is liberating, dance floors can be intimidating. As such, our classes are set in a positive, creative, and fun environment, designed to build confidence. We work with you to help draw out your natural talents and most importantly – have fun!

Jazz Junktion was founded by Glenda Mctavish, a seasoned dancer with over 25-years’ experience. Glenda started her dance career from the age of five and travelled between Australia and overseas to secure firsts in competitions and Honours with Distinction. Glenda went on to become the choreographer and coordinator of the Brisbane Broncos Cheer Squad as well as conduct dance workshops for schools nationally and internationally.
